OVERNIGHT STAYS IN A REFUGE
When you climb above 2000 meters, your perspective inevitably changes. The air becomes thinner and your view becomes clearer. From up here, the entirety of the world is more evident.
of which we are a part. Far from the conventions and comforts of the city, we find the free and uncontaminated space of the mountains.
We abandon everyday habits to follow forgotten rhythms and unforgettable suggestions that bring us back to the essence of our lives and reconcile us with nature.
Choosing to stay in a mountain refuge means experiencing this way of life. Often there are no private rooms or spaces; the spaces are shared, and you sleep in a shared room.
In a spacious dormitory, you'll eat at the table with other people and use shared bathrooms. These moments of community life will allow you to meet hikers and mountaineers with whom you can share the day's experiences and make new connections.
- Accommodations are in dormitories or small rooms for 4-6 people, depending on the structure.
- Upon request, but depending on the refuge, it is possible to have a private room even for just 2 people.
- To spend the night, you need to have your own sheet, as well as a light pillowcase.
- Meals are freshly cooked by the staff, who can also prepare sandwiches for excursions.
- If you have any special dietary requirements, please let us know at the time of booking.
- The kitchen is not that of a restaurant and meals are served at fixed times and usually with 2 menu choices.
- In the shelters it is possible to make phone calls and sometimes even surf the internet, as well as buy snacks and drinks
- Bathrooms have showers and hot water, sometimes limited depending on availability. Some remote facilities may charge a surcharge for hot water in the shower.
