Icefalls

The Pellice Valley offers numerous opportunities for ice climbing enthusiasts , concentrated primarily in the upper valley after Bobbio Pellice . Waterfalls, gullies, and drips of varying lengths and difficulties form in the side valleys and along the rock faces that characterize this part of the valley, offering itineraries in often wild and rarely visited alpine environments.

From the more easily accessible waterfalls in the Villanova area to the more secluded itineraries of Crosenna and Conca del Prà , the possibilities vary greatly depending on the altitude, exposure and, above all, the ice conditions.

In this section you'll find a selection of icefalls in Val Pellice, with links to other websites and guidebooks that provide information on access, difficulty, development, and exposure, helping you identify the most suitable itineraries.

ICE CONDITIONS
The formation and stability of waterfalls can change rapidly during the winter. Before setting out, it is essential to check temperatures, recent ice conditions, snow cover and avalanche danger along the approaches, consulting updated sources and assessing the actual conditions on site.
